Groups
We believe one of our churches greatest strengths is our intergenerational community and the relationships formed across ages and life stages.
Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministry seeks to introduce our children to God - who He is and His great love for them. Our Sunday school classes are taught by wonderful volunteers in a nurturing and loving environment. During Sunday Bible Class, our children learn the stories found in the bible that reveal all about the Creator who loves them. Fun events are planned throughout the year to foster relationships between children and the larger church family.
Youth Group
The Youth Group serves to live out the mission of our church: To Know, Grow, and Go as followers of Jesus. Campus View adults lead our youth to become life-long followers of Jesus. We seek to awaken each other to God's presence, enliven a Godly heart for others, and deepen relationships. Bible classes teach teens and tweens how to apply Scripture to their lives and encourage them to build their lives on the Bible.
College Group
College students bring depth and richness to our church life. They serve alongside us in our church ministries and become "adopted" members of our families. We find that our perspectives and faith become renewed through the lives of students who come here from places near and far. Our door is open wide and we hope that you will feel treasured here as someone deeply loved by God. We hope to be your "home away from home".
Life Groups
We're convicted that in order for Campus View to grow in our calling as a family and witness of Jesus, we need intentional and smaller gatherings - places to listen to God and each other, to pray, and to share our lives. Life Groups meet in homes throughout the Athens area for study and fellowship. We currently have 4 Life Groups with two designed to meet the needs of families with children.
Oasis Group
A large part of what makes Campus View so special is the wide span of ages within our church family. Our older members serve as examples of how to walk faithfully through all seasons of life. They bring wisdom and insight to our family guiding us with their knowledge and experience. The Oasis Group gathers those members over age 60 for fun, fellowship, and encouragement. The group enjoys trips to museums and shows as well as intimate moments in homes. They serve together in our church family and in the wider community.
